Goodbye, and some (not really needed) peace of mind.

Okay, I'm leaving for real this time! :) I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who voted in my name poll. If I'm brave enough, I'll try a new version in Florence...but I don't know if I can bring myself to do it. I was going to try it at wahleecon, but I had already told some people how to pronounce it and I got cold feet at the last minute. :p

Also, I changed the course besides Italian that I'll be taking while I'm there...instead of the "Trip To Italy As Quest For Sexual Identity (According to James, Forster, Elliot and, Bizarrely, The Guy Who Wrote The Silence of the Lambs)" class, I'm taking Italian Cinema and Modernism. Which should be fun. Less illuminating, perhaps, and maybe I won't get to find my sexual identity :p, but it'll probably also be a little less boring. >.<

Oh, but anyway, the point of that is that I had to go back to the bookstore and return the receipt that Bookstore Boy had written on the back of. It wasn't him at the register, but a kind of grumpy old guy. And then I did something very daring...I asked to have my old receipt back for a moment and then wrote a little note next to what he had written, saying sorry I couldn't make it, but being under 21 I figured a bar wasn't the best idea. I asked the grumpy guy to give it to Jack if he was working there that day...heh. Now I feel better because I got to apologize, but I didn't give out any compromising information like phone number or address. Hopefully it was a decent apology without giving him the wrong idea. :)

Okay. Now I'm really going. I'm gone. *pouf*
