So, I'm sick. * sigh * It was only a matter of time. Ezri and Brian are both perfectly healthy. I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection thingy. The onset was fast and all about the indoor allergens. We got snow! Last night our hill got dusted with about 4 inches! It mostly melted away later the following afternoon, but for now the grass and trees look winter beautiful. The highs in the day are about 39-41 F but dip to 30 F at night.

Bad news.  My mom has developed Shingles.
The slightly good news: she caught it really early, it's only broke out on her lower torso and legs (so that avoids the risk of loss of eyesight or hearing), and she's not in a lot of pain.

Had a relaxing trip to MN with Brian's family.  Sadly, my immune system crapped out on the return trip to CA.  I felt perfectly fine that morning, but on the plane I started to have a sore throat.  Then I felt kinda weak.  By the time we got home, I had a high fever, chills, headache, and was completely miserable ( Read more... )
