A year already?
I got an email from Whole Foods today that reminded me that it will soon be a year since I became pregnant with Ezri. On March 10 Whole Foods is again doing their "Crack Heard 'Round the World" as they simultaneously crack over 300 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano. I made sure to attend the event last year (as that type of aged cheese is virtually lactose-free and oh so yummy).
In particular, I remember attending the event (not sure on the exact date it was last year), really, really enjoying the free samples of cheese and pasta, and being incredibly and unusually hungry. I was begging Brian to let me go on an expensive Whole Foods shopping spree and blow our food budget. He kindly and firmly told me I'd be allowed to do so only when I became pregnant. So I sighed and left with only a few small items. Little did I know that I was already pregnant, but the test wouldn't confirm until a few days later on March 19.
Ah, nostalgia.
