In search of a USB headset microphone, or an affordable combo of wired (3-pin XLR) headset mic and XLR-to-USB converter. Looking for podcast/broadcast/professional recording quality, none of that fuzzed-out webcam/Skype/gamer jazz. Recommendations?

• Coraline: The Beetlejuice-meets-Narnia Neil Gaiman story is a little flabby in the middle, but you'll end up feeling about it the way I felt about Tron. Damn the storytelling flaws, the visuals alone are stunning enough to warrant a repeat viewing, and I didn't even see it in 3D.

After 4.5 years of relatively healthy PC computing, my Windows tower has contracted a rather nasty piece of spyware.

I consider myself bi-sys-ual but I much prefer Macs, so this is a plea for help to the more Windows-centric people on my FList.
