Holiday Stuff Plus Regular Stuff = Busy
It has been a pretty busy week. Balancing work and shopping has proven to be quite the challenge. I am hoping to finish our shopping this weekend. It has been hanging over my head. Luckily, we don't have much planned so that might be possible. Anyway, here's what I've been up to besides shopping:
- Steve and I went to my work Christmas party last Friday night. It was held at the Westford Grill. While I am not very comfortable socializing with all of my co-workers, I managed to have a pretty good time. We sat with my co-worker Cara and her boyfriend. Cara knows some of our friends so we have something in common. I also had three martinis so I think that helped a bit. Heh.
- Saturday was a lazy day. I really needed it! We had a nice, quiet night. We watched "The Godfather" for the first time. (Yeah, we are a little behind.)
- Sunday was pretty busy for a Sunday. I went to a baby shower at the Atkinson Country Club for my co-worker Colleen. It was a very nice. We all enjoyed the desserts. Colleen had a ton of gifts too. Later, Jack and Anina came over for dinner.
- Work has been busy as usual. Today I got a little bit of a break because I got to go to a workshop in Newton. I think that the ride to and from Newton was the most stressful part of the day. As most of you probably know, I have very little patience for traffic. I don't know how some people put up with it everyday. Anyway, it's almost the weekend. Happy Friday!
