Then Jaejoong poked bread crumbs through the bars of his bird’s cage. “Let him figure that out.” Jaejoong stared bored at the now blank screen, willing it to turn back on and return to the chat room. “If he is going to talk about the MV he could at least comment on how amazing I looked clinging to that fence. Or how amazing Su’s ass was in the other. No, my car looks shiny. Nobody likes SHINee.” He quickly reprimanded himself by tugging slightly on his silver necklace.
No one replied to his rambling, the tidy house bare, not even Jiji disturbing anything. Decisively, he grabbed his keys and headed out to a familiar part of Seoul.
An hour later, some stops in between, ducking down nonsense routes when he was sure he had a tail, Jaejoong arrived outside a dorm he had visited only a few times before. “I bet Changmin will move out first, Yunho really wants to live here…” And he sent a quick text to his FoodMin.
I brought ddukbokki, come out NOW!
And he waited for the hungry one to take the bait. Soon enough, a tall figure emerged from beside the building, having taken the back exit to avoid obvious sighting. Changmin looked left, right, right again when he saw someone walk by, then behind him just in case.
Jaejoong smiled to himself, willing to drag this out just a bit longer only to see the younger’s confused face. Oh how he would react when he realized there wasn’t any food.
Changmin had repeated his actions two more times before he turned to return to his room. The driver quickly cranked his car window down, “Wait! Min, over here!” The three people walking on the street all turned to see the shouter, but either they were too old and couldn’t see him well enough in the darkening evening, or they were too old and didn’t care about two young faces of Korea meeting surreptitiously.
Flustered, Changmin crossed the street and entered through the passenger to see Jaejoong rolling his windows back up. “You could have said so less obviously, and earlier!”
The elder shot him an incredulous stare, “You’re an idol, get over it.” Changmin only huffed in reply.
“And where is the dukbokki?”
“What am I? A street vender? Would I honestly come all this way just to give you something they sell outside your apartment? No, I came to show you my car.”
He received a blank stare. “What of it?”
“Is this a Lamborghini? Shiny silver? Well?” Changmin thought for a moment.
“Actually, it’s not. Okay, so I was wrong, so what?” Jaejoong punched the steering wheel, the horn scaring one of the pedestrians still around.
“Changmin, did you not just see me rolling up my sexy window? Have you never seen Ayyy Girl? My sexy window Min!”
The blank stare returned. “Uhhhh.”
