A wonderful story in my locating this talented photographer on Flickr. You keen-eyed readers will recall that poem a couple of days ago, regarding the insensitivity of "joking" about rape? Well, that is Lora's creation.
I was looking on her Tumblr -- whence I reblogged the poem -- charmed by her photos and wishing I could share them with you dear readers. And, all of a sudden -- one had a fleeting mention of Flickr, so I clicked, and I was THERE, and the shots -- self portraits, no less! -- were available for blogging. So, great, I'm 90% of the way to sharing -- just send a polite note to Lora... and woohoo! She responded most kindly, appreciating my reblog of her poem (and all you friends' sweet comments on it), and, sure, I could feature the two I'd wanted!!
I might just note, too, how partial I have always been to the spelling as she has it -- without the "au". My ancient aunt and her grand-daughter both spelled their name that way. Young Lori was almost exactly my age, and we were best chums when we were aged 8-10. (Sadly I long ago lost contact with her...)

I try not to overdo talking about my tags here -- but Lora won't be familiar with it, so this's for HER, okay? These old tags were ginned up several years ago. I abandoned them when LJ pushed me to get a paid account if I wanted MORE than the several hundred I'd accumulated. A few months ago, I found I could still access them for these posts...
"But NINE of them?" I hear you cognoscienti murmuring -- aware I limit myself to the first FOUR I see. Well, the nostalgia accounts for it in part (including some summer naughtiness involving a whip), but today's self-portrait of the girlish Lora also needs recognition.
