well my arm is still hurting me, throbbing and aching and stuff, but it's improving slowly. I didn't go to yoga today, too long in downward facing dog (it's a position) wouldn't have done my rotator cuff any good at all, but it was ok as I still got that Sunday morning stillness in my head that I've been getting for the past 5 weeks while I've been stretching myself so I guess the conditioning's paying off.
Instead I went to grab a coffee and write quietly for a while, then bought Fringe on dvd, a copy of The Times and a 4-pack of Corona. It was cool, I haven't had an eclectic shop in a long time.
The best eclectic shop I've ever seen was a friend back in 1996 who went shopping and bought 2 folding deckchairs and THE ENTIRE DISPLAY of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs.
The look on the face of the checkout girl was priceless.
Or it could be because my friend was bare-chested (it was allowed in the nineties) and had his nipple pierced AND had his sunglasses hanging off his nipple ring!!!
Ahh... the hayclon days of youthful hedonism.
Speaking of nipples I woke up with this funny lump in my chest, swollen and tender and stuff. I'm seeing my chiropractor on tuesday so I'll see what he thinks and if it's connected to the shoulder pain I'm having. Weird though, I've never had a lump before.
Aside from all of this we've just been baking and marinading in preparation for tomorrow's meal. Macaroons, apple cake, charoset, it's all good!
Picking up the lamb tomorrow from the local butcher who knows us.
I'm looking forward to it. I just wish the ache in my arm and shoulder would go away.
