woman's cancer?
i've just seen this terrible advert for wellwoman.com insurance.
proving that the advertisement companies are still raking in the cash during this economic downturn, it featured a couple of women stating how much they love life but, in case they are sick, its nice to have insurance.
fair enough.
but the punchline of how the company will pay out up to $25,000 for "woman's cancer" is at best laughable and at worst insane.
because cancer doesn't have a sex.
i know when they say 'woman's cancer' they hint at either breast, cervical or ovarian. fair enough.
but what happens if you are a woman, pay into this trust for X number of years and then find you've been diagnosed with liver cancer?
is liver cancer a "woman's cancer"?
