I went to meet Ross for a drink last night, and though he didn't show until I was leaving, I met a nice group of people. And...some other interesting people. Mike Logan and Ed Green, two of the men I'll be working with, I am still unsure about. Logan was an odd one, one of those flavors you have to get used to I imagine. And Green was in a funk and kept to himself. Then there was the weird dog guy, Dresden. I didn't know what to make of him, but he made things interesting. Can't say I'd let him anywhere near Pup quite yet. Oh, and there was John Munch. He's a funny guy, really made me feel welcome. And Joe Fontana and Nina Cassady were both seemingly nice people, but I didn't get much of a chance to talk with them. An ADA, Connie Rubirosa, also came by. I liked her. I'm still nervous about this job, but meeting some...interesting people helped ease the...uneasiness.
