*enter: a man with noble bearing, fine but modest clothing that has perhaps seen one battle too many, a fair beard on his chin, and a sheathed sword at his belt*

*he bows with a smile-- a humble smile, not of announcing himself, but of honestly seeking welcome* Greetings. I have before been of this place, but long have I been away. And yet not so long, I hope, that I have no welcome and no standing. I pray I may find many friends and allies here, as I did before.

I am Arthur, King of England. Unless I am mistaken, many of my knights now dwell here, and to them I offer all due honours. I bid them and those who I have before met in friendship, come forth and tell me of my absence. What have I missed? What of my Queen?

And lastly, I too honour all you who are yet foreign to myself and to my lands, for a stranger is nothing more than a friend I have not yet met. *another smile, bright in a tired face, beyond a weariness that is not of body* If there is food here, and if it be enough in plenty, I would invite all to dine with me tonight.
