This is a currently unnamed condition, unofficially tagged EAT (Excessively Apologetic Tendency). It has reached epidemic proportions among the good people of Desperate Fans, and this situation cannot continue.
This study, hosted by ciderandcats and ambitionkills, seeks to discover a treatment through research. They ask for your participation in the study. The disease seems most common among those of Elven or angelic persuasion, though none are truly immune.
This does not need to go on. There is help. You are not alone.
