*oh, please don't say that she has to talk to the people again! -- ... drat.*
*stands shyly next to a television that she found in the Mansion* Um. Hi. I'm Max, and I arrived about a month ago, if you don't remember. *waves a bit, feathers rustling as she does* And ... well. I mentioned movies a while ago, and a few people didn't know what I was talking about, so ... um. I thought I'd bring out the TV and show everybody. I hope nobody minds, since it was just sitting there, and nobody was using it. *bites her lip -- she's usually more eloquent than this, but she's an 11 year-old addressing a very large and slightly intimidating group of people -- what else do you expect?*
And ... well, Rosencrantz and Alice (in particular) wanted to know how TVs worked, I think -- movies, actually, but they're similar things -- but the rest of you can, too, of course. *points the remote at the TV and turns it on, revealing that 'Boy Meets World' is playing* This is a TV program. It has a story, a set of characters, and it plays at a certain time each week -- and the story continues in each episode. *switches the volume up and down* You can turn the sound higher or lower, if you'd like. *now presses the channel button, and 'Will and Grace' is playing instead* I just switched the channel. Each channel has a different set of programs, and you can choose what you want to watch! It has moving pictures and sound, and everything.
*smiles hopefully* I think I explained everything all right. Did I?
Typist: Go ahead and have your old-fashioned characters be confused. But if they ask more detailed questions, Max will probably confuse them even more, I think -- which should be fun. :)
