Greetings. I arrive following the dispatch of my dear friend and fellow officer, Lieutenant Kennedy. Being a man who follows orders to the letter one who takes honor and loyalty seriously, I could not, in good conscious, ignore the plea of my friend. Nor the fact that this place seems overrun with Frogs.
My name is Lieutenant Horatio Hornblower(please don't laugh at my name), the anal-retentive all-too-serious third Lieutenant of His Majesty's ship Renown. Apparently, a wonderfully observant gentleman by the name of C.S. Forester has put down my daring and brave exploits into several books.
Also, contrary to the popular belief of many in what my typist calls "fandom", I do not have any nicknames. Nor will I answer to any such nicknames such as Horry.
