Oh, now, this is more like it! I do hate this place my typist lives, it has been absolutely rainy and dreary all week long, but today it has finally begun acting like proper summer weather. So do tell me! What do all of you here like to do in the summertime? I have always thought taking a day at the shore in the summer would be absolutely lovely, ( Read more... )

You should! It's really great! They have diving boards and water slides at some pools!

Oh, the very best thing I always did was vacation with my friends at Caprice-in-the-Pines, a charming resort on Lake Chorge in Oz. It's simply glorious, you should see it. We had terribly delightful times there, taking a dip in the water--it was always clean and cool--and reclining out on the veranda. And sometimes there would even be parties nearby, where we could meet a few young sirs. *pretty grin, hairflip*

*likes Rosa already*

Oh yes, it was. I do believe it's still in operation, even after all these years...and perhaps even more well-developed than before. I simply must ask Shenshen--perhaps we should plan a small vacation there sometime, and we'd be delighted to have you join us, I'm sure. *prettygrin*

*flushes delightedly* Oh, why thank you! That should be absolutely lovely, and if all of your friends are as dear as you, I'm sure the company shall be as well.

*curtsies and smiles prettily* Rosa Bud, by the way.

In summertimes past, I have often enjoyed shutting windows that people open in order to relieve themselves of the heat. And when they come back, puzzled, certain that they just opened that window, and open it again, I shut it as soon as their backs are turned.

*more hysterical laughter*

Oh, horrid! You've caused me so very much confusion, if that's you doing that!

Oh, it wasn't me, unless you've been residing at the Opera Garnier without my knowledge, dear Mlle. Bud!

I suppose you have a Phantom of your own, then?

Oh, I should! But I know you won't take me. You've never taken me anywhere, save Egypt. And we didn't even go.
