So do tell me! What do all of you here like to do in the summertime? I have always thought taking a day at the shore in the summer would be absolutely lovely, ( Read more... )

Oh, the very best thing I always did was vacation with my friends at Caprice-in-the-Pines, a charming resort on Lake Chorge in Oz. It's simply glorious, you should see it. We had terribly delightful times there, taking a dip in the water--it was always clean and cool--and reclining out on the veranda. And sometimes there would even be parties nearby, where we could meet a few young sirs. *pretty grin, hairflip*

*likes Rosa already*

Oh yes, it was. I do believe it's still in operation, even after all these years...and perhaps even more well-developed than before. I simply must ask Shenshen--perhaps we should plan a small vacation there sometime, and we'd be delighted to have you join us, I'm sure. *prettygrin*

*flushes delightedly* Oh, why thank you! That should be absolutely lovely, and if all of your friends are as dear as you, I'm sure the company shall be as well.

*curtsies and smiles prettily* Rosa Bud, by the way.

Oh, ah, Rosa Bud of, er... the nun's house? Oh, so lovely to meet you as well, Miss Pfannee!

*smiles a bit and nods, not comprehending this "nun" business* Now, if I may ask, from what land or otherworld do you hail? Surely not Oz, I imagine, your accent's quite different.

Oh, no, I'm from Cloisterham, England. Though I live in London at the moment. And you?

I am from Munchkinland, in the east of Oz. Have you heard of it? I've not heard of your England, I'm afraid...but there are people here from so very many different worlds that that does not surprise me.

Oh, I see! I'm afraid I have not heard of it, but I'm sure it's splendid.
