My name is Mortimer, Duke of Sto Helit. But you can call me Mort. In fact, please call me Mort. Nobody ever actually seems to call me by my actual name. It's a bit.. vexing, really.
I wasn't always a Duke, of course. It's something of a... long story. Before that, I was apprenticed to D.. my father-in-law. I'll leave it at that, because, trust me, you probably don't want to know. But it was really a very interesting job. But I went and buggered it all up. But I suppose it turned out all right in the end.
