Right. This is the typist speaking. Since Hamlet's busy being emo and drunk angst-ridden because Horatio is away for three weeks, I'm going to borrow his journal.
This is actually a public service announcement.
It occured to some of us in the IRC chatroom that while a few spin-off communities have been created, none of them (save one) have been advertised here. Hopefully no one minds this, oh gracious mods. This would be me remedying that.
Okay. DF-related comms first:
df_loggage: A community for the all important CHAT LOG! It's new, but soon it shall be filled with logs of angst and snogging! And... you know, other important events, surely. Benefits the non-chatter and the busy typist alike.
desperatelyooc: Fairly new and in need of new blood blood. A place for typists to drop the puppets, join with their OOC journals, and discuss whatever they feel like. Get to know your fellow muns!
desp_creators: Here people post DF(or pairgen)-inspired fic, fanart, icons, whatever strikes their fancy. Creativity abounds!
df_spawn: A comm for the spawn of DF, obviously. Most of these are chatroom creations-- including Byron the fish, Dr. Fleurd, and a whole gaggle of personified punctuation. I kid you not.
df_pantheon: For all of DF's gods, goddesses, immortal beings, angels, demons, and the Endless.
Aaaaand now, other role-play comms:
desperatescreen: Just like DF, but with television or movie characters.
desperategamers: See above, only with video game characters.
desperaterips: You get the idea, only with real people. (Currently living, as those already dead do belong in deadmentalking)
desperateocs: Yeah. Original characters, people! You know you have them!
desperateworld: Yes, this is for the RP of countries. It is as ridiculous as it sounds and is not political, so check it out.
desp_mascots: The newest in the line-up, this is just as above, only for company advertising mascots. Tony the Tiger, etc.
desperategames: Hot off the presses! Created since this post was originally written. Desperate games. Go forth and play.
desperateeats: I JUST CAN'T KEEP UP WITH YOU GUYS! Yeah. RP your favourite foodstuffs here. HOT CROSS BUNS! GET YER... right.
And you thought the madness was confined to desperatefans.
