no longer alone...?

Hello. My name is Ariadne. I... well I was a princess; I guess I'm probably not anymore. It was nice while it lasted. Along with everything else that was ever nice in my life, though, it didn't last long. Eheu... (My typist can't speak Greek, and for some reason assumes that Latin will do. It will not.)

Typist: ...so she's pre-carrying-off, then?

Funny thing 'bout that, babe-- this mortal chick seems to be snickering, too. Well, whatever. Since you don't seem to know it, I'm Dionysus, god of wine and other cool stuff, and all around hunk of a guy.

*offers wine* I get the feelin' I'm gonna like you.

Typist: ...yep :) This will be interesting...

I apologise for my ignorance, sir... I'm afraid I didn't attend many parties at my father's court; the occasion was generally the joyous throwing of people to the Minotaur.

I'm not entirely sure I appreciate your familiar tone... I am/was royalty, you know. Then again, I suppose you are a god. Albeit a male one. So, um. I hope very much that - Well. Anyway. I mean no disrespect; I'm just a little confused.

*takes a small glass of wine* Thank you.

Typist: Oh, yes. Incredibly so. *grin*

Oh, well, don't worry about it. Though I'd be more worried 'bout you missing out on all those parties. And a Minotaur? Sounds awesome.

I'm a god, babe. I'm royalty, too. My Pop? Is the king of all the gods, so that makes me, like, a prince or something. *grins* I'm not offended, but y'know, I'm thinking-- you really missed out on all those shindigs of your daddy's.

I'm gonna throw a party, missy, just for you.

A prince too...? Well. Um. *decides to accept his royal godness's familiarity as friendliness for convenience's sake* *giggles*

The Minotaur thing... it got old, I guess. Do you have any idea just how many unsullied Athenian youths it needed to eat? Ugh.

So, um, alright, a party... Who's invited? I can think of certain people I do NOT want on the guest list.

*laughs* Unsullied? Well now, I can see the problem. I've been to Athens, you know. *winks*

Anyone you want, honey. It's your party, after all. Me, of course, and you-- that's really all I need, but go on. Name some names.

(I'm beginning to think Theseus presented me with a SERIOUSLY inaccurate picture of his dear home...)

I don't feel I know anyone here that awfully well yet -- perhaps we could just see who turns up, and then sort of chuck out anyone nasty? I mean... just two isn't really much of a party, is it?

*takes a demure sip of wine* Ooh, this is really rather good, actually! Only to be expected though, right? :)
