The Mansion sits in silence, everything inside it coated in a heavy layer of dust. It's waiting. It's plotting. It had reluctantly released its captives for a while -- back to their native books lands -- but that was only to lull them into a false sense of security. Now it's back with a renewed sense of mischief ( Read more... )

He's been sitting on the sofa all evening, he sometimes comes here to think. Thankfully before the mansion decided to release people he had left to live in a house outside its domain. He's not expecting anything, really, just a few moments to himself, but he'd welcome conversation from any passerby.

*blink* --- WELL HELLO YOU. *have an Anitackle, Lestat* ... YOU. YOU. Where have you been all this time! I've missed you like mad!

*yup, it's a bit of a violent glomp, jus'sayin', even for Anita*

*stumbles a little and laughs rather furiously as he half hugs her half pats her on the back* I've been home, with my husband, my children. The better question, chérie, is where have you been?

Killing furballs, and getting in all sorts of drama, actually. With Henry and the others, of course. You have no idea. I'm dating your worse enemy. Though I think I might manage to make him not kill you this time.

*no joke, Anita's beaming*

Sounds like an exciting sort of adventure. What kind of furballs, might I ask? You're not going after rabbits and little creatures are you?

Oh puh-lease. Sauron's wolves themselves, mind you. They make good practice targets. Still stuck with the army of insane elves, though. At least they stopped crawling out of the walls. That's a good thing, if ever there was one.

*laughs again* It's a shame i wasn't, I'm rather good with wolves. Though it does sound like you're having fun with it, so perhaps my expertise is not required.

Seriously, any help is welcome. The Big Bad is just not letting up. And you'll never guess what the last fad is.

*no, really. Anita's pretty sure you won't, Stat.*

Unfortunately, no I'm quite sure I wouldn't be able to guess, though I can try. *he ponders it a moment, then* Is it perhaps an attack of rabid ceiling fans?

T/N: He's not even trying really, he knows he won't get it. XD

Close nuff. How about vampire melons?

*Anita's still puzzled over that one*

*opens his mouth to reply but is quite taken aback by the concept actually* --Is such a thing even possible?

I didn't think so either, but apparently, the more you know, the less you know.

*Anita spreads her hands helplessly*

*he smiles* I suppose that's true enough. I've a few years on me and that threw quite a bit of what I thought I knew out the window in mere seconds.

Yeah, it'll humble a master vamp, won't it. Vampire melons.

*Nita chuckles, sounds amused.*

Not to mention, I've been around a bunch of new flavors of vampires. Haven't met the glittery one yet, though.

I wasn't aware that vampires had flavors, though I suppose if they are melons now then they must have a few. *his smile turns into a grin, he's missed this silliness*

Yeah, vanilla, vampire... guess that means you might even come across a weremelon, one day...

*Anita loves the silliness - and she missed Lestat, too*
