Winsol! (Open Post)

The decorations are still up, and in a large open room somewhere in the Mansion, Jaenelle's set up a party. It's a curious melding of Christmas (or what she knows of it) and Winsol, with a tree in one corner, presents stacked underneath. The music playing, however, is pure Blood, food is laid out, and the cup is somewhere for all involved to share

Sugar wanders in, with Sophie. Both are in a good mood, happy and relaxed... and they wonder what this is all about, but they are looking forward to seeing their friends of the Blood.

Arianna comes barrelling over and hugattacks Sophie. "Sophie Sophie Sophie! It's Winsol!" She seizes her friend's hand and is going to tug her over to the tree. "Come on, I need to give you your present."

Sophie hugs back, grinning, and follows Ariana dutifully. "Oh, oh, there's a present for me? What is it?"

"I can't tell you, it's a surprise, you have to unwrap it." Still tugging. "But it's a good present, and I hope you'll like it, I really do."

There's a depressed Cyrano lurking. He doesn't dare come in, but he wants to. He wants to see Mina. He misses her more than his own soul, and has been unable to write since they last spoke.

Here's a Karla, materializing, more or less, behind him. "Well. You look cheerful."

Karla doesn't sidestep things. She just doesn't.

He startles. "Oh. Hello Karla." Neutrally. He's unable to do cheerful, right now.

"Hullo. Care to tell me why you look like something Kaelas dragged in?"

Pascal didn't notice the signs. He walks in the room completely distractedly, and bumps into someone (typist's choice).

"Oh, I'm sorry. I must have taken a wrong turn."

Amiably, "An all right wrong turn to make. Happy Winsol. Want a gravedigger?"

Pascal looks at Khardeen with wider eyes than usual.

"Some sense of humor, you have." He sighs. "Sure, thank you."

Khardeen shrugs. "Don't blame me, I didn't make up the name. I think it was Aaron, actually." He offers the second glass he's holding and sips his own. "I don't think you probably want the story on why."

Two little boys are going to stumble in, and freeze - they didn't expect that many people around.

So... here they are. Hugging each other and making ready for a hasty retreat.

Oh no you don't! Not with a little Queen flitting around being friendly.

"Hello!" Pouncing on them, beaming and younger than they are but quite energetic and kids. "Come on, we're having a party. Sophie's around here somewhere, don't leave it's Winsol and there's food and presents and-"

Chattering away, already trying to herd them back into the room.

O.O What is wrong with this girl, is what the boys are asking each other.

"It's alright, we were leaving. Our uncle is waiting, we should go...."

"He can come here, everyone's welcome, pleeease don't go. I'm bored, there's no kids here ever."

Still herding, yes.

She probably shouldn't be out - but she is her own person, and she hasn't seen Jaenelle in a long time.

Galadriel will peek in, curiously.

She's getting hugged, fiercely by a happy bundle of blonde witch. "Galadriel! Happy Winsol!"

Whoa. She hugs back, a bit surprised. "Well... you too, Jaenelle." But she can't not smile - it's good to see her friend happy.

Snugged, and keeping and arm around her to lead her inside. "I'm glad you came. Have you been resting?"
