Unlike the dramatic entrance of his companion a month ago, Mr Christopher Drawlight enters with comparatively little fuss. He is a small man, meticulously dressed in the height of fashion, effeminate with large dark-eyes. He looks to be just at the edge of thirty, although he would never tell his real age. (It would be difficult to get Drawlight to tell one anything unless it might benefit him.) There is also something restless and slightly nervous about him, something that makes it impossible for him to sit still for too long.

Expecting to be shown into the drawing room one of London's more fashionable houses, and having already prepared his report of daily gossip, he is understandably a bit shocked at finding himself in a completely unexpected place. But it only lasts a quick moment and he is soon moving about the place curiously, reading confidential papers, critiquing the furniture and fashions of the occupants, listening in on conversations, and generally making himself quite at home.

Typist: ...Umm... Mr Drawlight from Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. He is the slightly better (but still a leucrocuta worm) and definitely gayer half of the Lascelles and Drawlight duo. He comes from 1811, still thinks Strange is safely on the continent and that he can keep dodging his debts indefinitely. He is pre-prison, pre-Venice, pre-crazy-'trees-will-eat-me', and definitely pre-death.

Shoot me now (or shoot him) but please don't.
