Kid: *laughing* You're a horrible little person.

Kid: The man's just doing his job, and you're mocking him.

Detroit Red Wings are a very, very good team this season. Best in the NHL, as proven by their stats. On top is Henrik Zetterberg, who is brilliant. Then there's Datsyuk, Lidstrom, Hudler, Holmstrom, etc. etc. But my favorite? My favorite is Valtteri Filppula, our boy from Finland, who knows how to do penalty shots and is doing brilliant when it comes to scoring goals. When Zetterberg and Holmstrom are out, leaving Datsyuk alone on the number one line, it's Cleary and Filppula who come up to take their places. And they played it right tonight against the Wild, both of them scoring at least a point to show that the Red Wings really can hold it together without Zetterberg. 4-1, oh yeah!
And now I'm going to watch Dragonball Z (Cell Games saga, wtf?) with my brother, followed by Futurama, Family Guy, and then a Family Guy Season Two marathon since he came across the DVD collection down in the basement. Sounds like a good, solid evening to me. Only one thing would make it better, and she's not here, so it's as good as it'll get.
BTW - has anyone else ever noticed how creepy Chi-chi is? Seriously, that's one creepy mom. And Vegeta was a cocky little bastard... no wonder he was my favorite. Geez, every day there is more evidence that Kid, Kristen and Lee are right.
And I'm looking forward to the Saginaw Spirit game next Saturday. Should be fun.
