So I'm back at the Tourist Information Centre, dashing through emails and spam - just deleting anything not terribly important off the bat, because there's no time to deal with that on holidays. Yesterday I went hopping about the museums here - I got to the Art Galery and saw 10 of Da Vinci's drawings. Even the doodles that this man did are amazing. Ideas for weapons, statues, fountains, garden designs, none of which ever went anywhere than the paper. They had some studies of hands that he had done for some paintings he could have been working on at the time, and even just the hands are amazing. I also went to the Marischal (pronounced marshal) College Museum where they had some Pictish stones and a lot of artifacts from people who had traveled the world during the later 19th century, some kayaks from inuits that had made it to Scotland somehow, and a skeleton from a bog in the area. Everything was quite interesting, but I would nearly need another day there because I only got to about half of it all. The Marischal college itself is gorgeous, with some of the most intricate granite working in the city. I also found out that and arm and hand of William Wallace is interred in one of the oldest churches of the city. The name of which is long gone... oh well.
Again I'm running out of time here, so I must get going.
