No longer in Scotland - Moved on to Oxford

So I made the trek down from Aberdeen yesterday - 7 or 8 odd hours of being on the train. When I finally landed in Chris & Kay's house I still had that funny feeling in my head of train movement - kinda in ovals - and the glass of wine didn't help at all. Any ways - Paula and I had a lovely bit of a pub crawl on our last night together. We started @ old blackfriars - then on to the prince of wales, then down to the terrible Irish pub - o'neils (recommended in the Lonely Planet, not really that great) Then on down to Belmont street which is where the majority of the pubs are and went to a very pretentious one, then a few normal down to earth places. We finished at a student bar - which would never exist back home unfortunatly. I know that this sounds like an incredibly amount of drinking - but it was only one drink - usually beers - at each place, and we'd sit and chat for the longest time over them.

Now I'm in Oxford - where mum's pen pal and wife live - and it is lovely. I just got a bus into the city centre, and it's great in here. Just walking around with a coffee, looking at the old buildings and all...

I must go as my time is yet again running short.
