a rockin' summer so far
...and another month speeds by - I think I've had fun every single day!
sooo...chronologically....
Toronto Pride was rather fun - Steve and I spent the Saturday night and Sunday there and had Josh and Maja join us on the Sunday. Danced lots here and there -drank a lot, smoked a lot, and overall - had a blast.
work has been fine - arvato is same old thing, but I'm still enjoying it. catering was a blast in june - got a few weeks off and about to get back into it (except that I have lots of weekend plans!)
Had Steve down a couple weeks ago for the weekend. fantastic. patios and frisbee and hikes and lots of playing in the kitchen - he's far more of a chef than I am! Lots of fun was had...very gratifying.
Went camping last weekend with work friends - and had a blast again. Was up in Albion Hills and had the best campsite. lots of frisbee, volleyball and badminton - and water frisbee. It was good times, and I have to say that our last fire was so excellent, listening to great tunes and playing with the fire until the wee hours.
The roommates have been doing well, although sometimes I rarely see them. Lisa went out the weekend Steve was down, and we hooked up with her and some of her friends nad had a great night at Ethels and Starlight. Its always nice to have Lisa come out - we kept her up to the wee hours, although having her friend Andrea with her vociferous laughter certainly kept us from dozin'!
Lovin' the facebook - its working out well for scheduling patio evenings, backyard gatherings, dancing and frisbee. managed to connect with some friends from long, long ago in another life. I don't have too much time for it, which is saddening at times, but probably a good thing. Its all I can do to keep up, without creating more connections that I have to pay attention to!
Off to hamilton this weekend for saturday night...should be fun! Also going back to hamilton next week for several nights to chill with friends....and Steve. so excited - and I got the Friday off! (I think its time to check out some waterfalls in dundas!)
then, its a number of birthdays, london pride, and the hillside festival. whatever I do, steve's gonna be there. I love July! (although from the shape of things, august should be almost as busy....no booking for october weekends!)
