Matsumoto: Questionable things about Aiba-san huh. How come he’s not staying within Tokyo area? (laugh)
Sakurai: Ahahaha!
Ohno: He’s the son of a Chinese cuisine chef, but he can’t make even one Chinese dish.
Ninomiya: (laugh) Indeed, that’s so true. He can’t make anything.
Ohno: It’s fine even if he can make only one dish (laugh)
Sakurai: Things like gyoza, it’s kinda major right? He says things like “well I’ve seen my dad make it, so I kinda know something”, so I expected him to know a thing or two (laugh)
And, in our sister magazine “H”, Aiba-san said that compared to the period when you first debuted, he has learned to be more vocal in expressing his thoughts and views, is that a recent change?
Ninomiya: Isn’t that because he has finally learned Japanese? (laugh)
Sakurai: Ahahahaha. He can finally speak Japanese now (laugh)
Matsumoto: Before that he’s struggling with just hearing alone (laugh)
Ninomiya: But, in what situation does he share his thoughts and views? I haven’t seen him doing so though.
Ohno: He gives a lot of ideas when we’re discussing about our promotional videos you know.
Sakurai: But every time he only says “I want to go for location shooting!” (laugh)
Ninomiya: He says nothing but “I want to go for location shooting”. He loves location shootings (laugh).
Matsumoto: (laugh) When we go for location shootings, he gets really hyped up.
Sakurai: He gets down from the crew bus alone, and waits for the rest outside while sipping coffee.
Matsumoto: Yes yes yes (laugh)
Sakurai: He’s so eager to go there’s nothing you can do about it (laugh)
Ninomiya: Ahahahaha! He has always been like this, wanting to go for location shootings. When we were much younger, he couldn’t join in on Sundays because he had to help out at his family shop as they’re really busy on weekends.
Ohno: Fufu.
Is he the guy-with-hidden-talents type?
Matsumoto: Nothing like that.
What a quick answer (laugh).
Ninomiya: (laugh) He’s got to have some sort of talent, but I don’t know what it is.
Matsumoto: Doesn’t that mean he has none? (laugh)
Ninomiya: (laugh) He’s good at something I’m sure. Animals? I guess. He’s better with animals than with humans.
Matsumoto: So wild.
Ninomiya: Yes. That’s why he couldn’t come out and stay in Tokyo.
Matsumoto: I see. It makes him tired.
Ninomiya: Yes yes. He hates Concrete Jungle, I guess. (To Aiba who just returned) What?
Aiba: No no, it’s not like that.
