Last night when I went online, I got one of those automated update messages telling me there was a new upgrade available or something such for Adobe Reader. I downloaded and installed it as prompted, lahdeedah.
Except right after that, I go to YouTube and where a video should be I see the following message:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player."
Oh well, thinks I, the Adobe Reader update must have done something weird that will be fixed next time I restart my computer. So I shut it down and go to bed.
Today: nope, problem still there. So I follow the "get the latest Flash" link and go through the install, lahdeedah.
Except while I do see a message afterwards saying my installation is completed successfully, I do not see the installation video that is supposed to play...playing.
Which I'm thinking brings me back to that whole "JavaScript turned off" thing.
Except I have no idea where the hell that is, how to fix that, or even any idea, really, what the crap is going on anymore.
Yeah, between this and suddenly discovering the possibility that I apparantly might have not one but two problems with recieving my paychecks from work? Today is not a good day.
