Pirates Of The Caribbean 3: At World's End.
Ladies and gentlemen, scurvy dogs and wenches, Captain Jack...

I'm excited. Are you excited?? I know I'm excited.
Of course, this might be because I've stayed spoiler-free so far, because apparantly there's been a serious wave of dread and woe going around from the people who haven't.
Well, I don't know what that's all about, and I refuse to let it dampen my mojo, so *sticks fingers in ears* LALALALALALALALALAAWESOMEMOVIELALALALALALA....
GOD. I am PSYCHED.
Oh, and? I've been sitting on this news all week, because I wanted to wait to share it with you guys at juuuust the right moment...
During Race For The Cure, one of the guys in charge of our local movie theatre around these parts recognized some of us as wearing pirate garb, and he approached our fight mistress about us possibly doing something in conjunction with an event for the opening of the movie. In exchange, he was willing to offer any of us that participated some free swag...and free admission to the movie.
Oh yeah. You heard me.
So from about six o'clock until midnight, about twenty of us will be in garb at the movie theatre, being our faire characters and running fights and other bits to keep the people in line entertained.
So. I will be at the opening of PotC3. Dressed as a pirate. Being a pirate. Getting to be a pirate for several hours. And then seeing the movie. FOR FREE.
I think it's safe to say that my "I went to see Pirates 3 opening day" story will be SO MUCH BETTER THAN ALL OF YOURS. MWAHAHAHAHA :P
