I added
sethwoodtattoo to my friends list, and you should too, because he is freaking fantastic and seeing good work on a regular basis gets me all wound up. I haven't gotten a new tattoo in over a year, but I still consider them an important part of my life. I want number ten so badly and I have a great idea for it, but its going to take someone with alot of technical skill and orginality to pull it off. I want a rib-piece of an elaborate whip (perhaps a cat-of-nine-tails) with banners saying "In Love Not Given Lightly". Its a line from "Venus In Furs" by the Velvet Underground. Admit it, you think that's tough. I know the chances of me getting this in the near future are slim to none but its still makes for a great daydream.
Craig and I took the first step to getting the aquarium running. We went to Mr. Aquarium (which in my opinion has a fantastic smell, I kept inhaling deeply like a pervert). We bought some rather lovely rocks for the bottom of the tank. I've been studing up on fish care and aquarium maintence and I think this is going to be an excellent hobby for Craig and I, not to mention a striking centerpiece for house. And the kids are stoked.
We'll probably get some of these little fellas:
Here's a quote about them. God, I'm a nerd:
The Lion Head has a peculiar Chinese name "Shouxing", which means the God of Longevity. People love it's appearance of a large head and a fat belly, with a short tail but without a dorsal fin. It is difficult for the fish to balance itself. It swims and eats slowly and gracefully. Some Lion Heads have their heads pointing downwards when they are not moving. When swimming, sometimes, they trun somersaults, thus making them very funny.
