My job just bought me a year gym membership, because I am the Muad'dib! Actually, its probably some hippie-ass coroporate responibilty thing. Its at Flex, which is maybe three miles from my house. Its going to be great--- I really feel a lot less stress when I've been working out on a regular basis. And I need a break from my strict routine of ass-sitting. Its a smaller gym, so my agoraphobia shouldn't hinder my process too bad. There's a framed picture of Chuck Norris with the kickbox instructor. Which is totally hot.
Do any of you ever witness something and think, "If I had a camera right now it would be the most beautiful photograph of all time?" That happened to today. I saw an old, feeble man with a cane smiling at a classic care with a For Sale sign in the window. It was beautiful. Even though I was at a distance I could see the hope beaming off of him. An object from his prime restored and made new- what a wonderful symbol.
