We watched the show last night. Austin and I made a game of rating each tribute performance, and it was interesting to see that we both had roughly the same feelings about each performance.

Today is the first Halloween in 15 years that I've had to work.  Christina and Austin are out and about on their own with their friends today.  No one needed me to make any costumes for them - they handled it themselves. I spent last Sunday (10/10/10) at Comic Con with Christina and Austin.  Amy was sick, and decided not to come along for the day.  We had a very nice day, and the kids came away with lots of autographed stuff (including some signed original sketches by several artists).  As much fun as we had at the Con, we had more scheduled for the day.  We left ( Read more... )

We went off to Ohio for a week to visit with relatives - Amy's sister's family.  Had a lovely time with the nieces and nephews (not much time spent with their parents, who had to work all week).

As my entire city winds down from the hoopla of last night's All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium, we are now amping up for BIlly Joel's performances at Shea Stadium tonight and Friday.  Simply put, my response to this is: "Bleah!"
