I did my grade 4 exam for descant recorder about 3 weeks ago - yes that is the instrument you played at school using your nose! Just heard from my music teacher. I passed. In fact I got a credit!!! No, really. I love my stash! So, I'm nearly finished Soul's Ten in blue but I can't get the blasted sleeves to sit right in the coat. We're been helping to clear Glug's belongings from her house and yesterday my sister-in-law got the fridge/freezer which meant she didn't need hers, which meant we could have it. We don't need it desperately but having more fridge/freezer space means I can food shop more effectively (and more on budget because I don't have to shop several times ( Read more... )

So I joined Ravelry last week and went trawling through their toy patterns because i have a stash of yarn (as every good knitter/crocheter does) and wanted something new to make. I love crocheting these booties! I started them early yesterday afternoon and finished them about 10 minutes ago.
