There is another danger sign when I am stressed.

I shop.

I spend too much money.

Lately it's been on baking equipment. Cast aluminium bakeware is not cheap. And every kitchen could use another offset spatula, honest!

I know it's stereotypical that females love the shiny. Which is why I am sooo very amused to find myself casing eBay for sparkly rocks. Mainly natural spinels. So my expensive shoes arrived.

The Lily Darlings were a slight disappointment however. I underestimated the squareness of the toebox. And between that and my genetically flatter arches (due to being a narrow-footed female of my racial phenotype), my feet tended to slide forward, letting my heel spring out of the shoe at every step.
