(no subject)
I never thought I could feel so exhausted right now, but we’re just about settled in the room. We got here at just around and the drive was really spectacular. Don’t know the best way to describe what we say and how we felt beyond that, I will say though that it was so amazing that there were tears in my eyes at one point. It’s something I’ll never forget, the sights we saw are always going to be up here *points to head* and I was so glad that Jay and I were sharing it.
It wasn’t a problem finding the place, we went through all the surrounding villages to get here but that was through choice. There was a quicker way to get here, we just wanted to see. :)
The room we’re in is very cosy, ensuite with it’s own tea/coffee making facilities and the staff are very friendly and helpful as seems the norm with the people of Keswick. Once we got settled in the room, we just had to do a mini exploration of the town/village (not sure with which term to class it) and we were pleasantly surprised by how much is here. Pretty much everything that is needed and all in once place. Ok, I’m going to get a shower and hopefully it’ll wake me up a little for whatever we want to do tonight.
