So I finally saw Kill Bill Deux this evening. I can't believe it took me this long. Oh well.
Let me say this:
It's about fucking time QT redeems himself for that hollow, cinematic masturbation that was volume one.
Volume two was the opposite, the cinematic equal to making love to a woman you care about, as a proper QT film should be.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the first half, but I felt the second half was the Tarantino move I'd been waiting for since Jackie Brown.
Anyways, yeah I enjoyed it. I may even go see it again before it leaves theatres.
