I had a lot of fun thursday night. D'Arcy and I hung out at his place for a bit and listened to the new Bad Religion as we enjoyed some fine japanese beer. Mmmmmm. Asahi, I love you.
Then we went to see some band because we're friends with the drummer. The rest of the band kinda sucks and the music sucks, but whatever.
Then we went to the Beefeater and celebrated Jon's birthday for a bit and then to Fitzy's. It was an eventful night.
Friday was a night off for me. I just slept all night.
Saturday we went to a big going away party for these girls that are moving to Alberta. There was drums and an amp there so Brian and Justin and Taylor threw a band together. It was insane. See, they were playing a mix of punk/hardcore/etc... and it was just guitar and drums, but Taylor was freaking out and screaming and he was so loud it kept up with the music. I don't know how he can do that without killing his vocal chords.
We ended up going down to the bar for a bit and then to Luke's when the bar closed and then back to the other party. I was dead at like four though, I'm losing my touch.
I had a really awesome night, but one thing pissed me off quite a bit. This loser that used to be edge (and had a bunch of stupid ink done too) showed up, got really, really drunk and then drove home, really, really drunk. Like what the fuck. I couldn't believe it. What an idiot. Way to break your edge and then drink and drive. I mean it's stupid for ANYONE to drink and drive, but when you were all edge and shit you'd think they'd be a bit more intelligent about it.
End of rant. Sorry.
My mom got home from California on sunday. I want to go soon. Sounds like a lot of fun, although I'm sure I'd have more if I went.
I sent my application away for a merch booth for Alarm at Warped Tour this summer, it's going to be nice to be able to have a place in the shade to sit down and maybe sneak in a bottle of Jack too. hehe.
I took yesterday off work, I didn't really do much, I finished a book, I guess that's better than nothing.
I'm going to bed.
I haven't seen Kill Bill 2 yet. What's wrong with me...
