Quick hello
Hey all. Yes, I'm still around.
Have been writing - a poem yesterday, and my 2HC column for next Monday was completed today. Just don't feel like doing a big LJ entry, is all.
Have been travelling - alasatyr and I went out to Onemana for the day on Saturday, and visited the Beach Hop at Whangamata. Had a lovely time out there, both the scenery and the company. We also talked through my next Firefly fic (as it's his request that's up next) and I now have some ideas about what to do with Kaylee. (Not that I've put anything on paper yet.)
Have been working - so exciting, dontcha know.
Have been reading - am working my way through the fantasy series The Blending, by Sharon Green. Am vey impressed by these stories, and am as far as the third book, Challenges (the first two were Convergence, and Competitions - thankfully the C-words end after that and we get Betrayals and Prophecy). I've also been going hard reading various entries to the Riley Ficathon and the Spuffy Ficathon. And commenting profusely.
Have been cooking - had wenchwoman and i.c.o.n over for dinner on Monday, and made them Margherita Pizza. Then cooked Lemon Tofu Stirfry (one of my favourites) for myself and Loulou last night.
Have been spending time with myself - I forget to take enough Deborah-time, sometimes. The last few days have been a good recharge.
