Present Time, Present Day
I've had the opening music for Serial Experiments Lain in my head since I woke up this morning. It's quite peaceful. The singer has a lovely voice, reminding me a little of Dido. Unlike other ear-worms which can drive me bat-shit, I have no particular desire to replace it with my cure-all, The Teddy-Bears Picnic.

My right palm is itchy. It was itchy yesterday too, and I've been scratching it even though there's nothing to see there. Maybe some demon blood? If I start to hear people's thoughts we'll know I have a problem. Right now the only problem is it won't stop itching. Weird.
*scratches palm absently and hums*
Went off to Gotham Comics to pick up Issue 8 of 1602 yesterday. It's the final issue - and it's been a two month wait for it to come out. Haven't read it yet, as want the time to re-read the previous issue first. Tomorrow, perhaps.

I fell into bed after 1am this morning. I'm not a night person (as most of you know, mornings are my energetic time), so this was appallingly late when I'm used to being passed out by 10 - 11pm. Especially when I get up at 5:45am. But I went over and shared my Chinese with neongraal, watched Origin. He tempted me with the knowledge that Time Bomb was downloading and would be complete by about 11:30. Evil man! So we watched the first four eps of Season 5 Bablyon 5 (as I hadn't yet seen S5, and he's just got the DVD set, which beats all hell out of my taped-off-TV-tapes that I was given). And then we watched Time Bomb, finishing about 12:30. I can't believe there are only three more episodes of Angel to go, ever!
*drinks third can of V for the day, visualises comic sitting on bed, scratches palm, hums*
For the first time in forever, I have nothing at all planned this weekend. Ben and I are going to join Mandos to watch Ghostbusters this evening, but other than that, it's all free. Will probably watch the last two eps of Lain (I've seen 7 since last Sunday. hence the ear worm), read the last book of The Blending, sleep some. It's nice to have no plans.
I really should get myself some Lain icons. Hmmm.
