Yet again I had arranged to meet a friend for a walk, and look what started as I drove towards her ... rain.  (luckily the roads were quiet, so i could snap the shot, as my camera was round my neck).  So we met at venue #2 ... a coffee shop and had a chat instead.

I had arranged to meet my friend from work, for a walk ... we have had to alter the date a few times, and today we stuck to it. However, with the bad weather and she had hurt her back we just met up for coffee/tea and a chat instead. Great to catch up ... not as good for the exercise though ( Read more... )

I went to a funeral yesterday .... Back in 1966 we moved back to Essex and our next-door neighbours were a family with a girl 5 years older than me, and a boy 3 years older than her.  In 1986 we moved to the West Contry and just after Mum & Dad moved to Torquay our neighbours parents moved there as well ... so we never really lost touch.  Sadly ( Read more... )

I have made a set of 10 icons for round 22 of gen10in30 ... and the theme is people. Well, I think some of these are people ... the rest are either myself, or my family (do we count as people?)
