This summer, I have done the following:

• Karen & I danced at Alameda's Obon
• Dim Sum at the Hong Kong Lounge with Thuy, Michael, Ariel, Thuy's brother & niece
• Had my 27th annual celebration breakfast of surviving the first six months with the City
• Family Vacation
• Seen Theatreworks' The Confederates

Saturday, K, the kidlets and I celebrated the Lunar New Year by going to Dim Sum. Well, having dim sum is always a celebration and it just happened to be the start of Lunar New Year =)

Monday, herefox, his roommate J and I had swedish meatballs over noodles for dinner and watched American Idol's "The Guys in Hollywood" episodes. I didn't to watch any ( Read more... )

herefox and I saw Theatreworks' The North Pool last night.

It was excellent - riveting (didn't feel the least bit sleepy all the way through and I was tired) and just emotionally pulled you through the wringer. Oy!

Two man play - 90 minutes, no intermission. Definitely Intense. Fantastic performances by Adam Poss and Remi Sandri.

Go see it!

Thursday, July 29th - Sean & I saw Theatreworks's Auctioning the Ainsley's. I really liked it. It had lots of laughter and sadness and just a really good story.

Saturday, July 31st: Carmel
