It was a crazy two day feast - we had 41 people on Thursday & 23 people for leftovers on Friday. Had several people cancel at the last minute - sick was the main reason *sigh*. Actually this year, there were two days of Thanksgiving. Thursday, we had 42 people. Friday, there were 20 over for leftovers. =)

The age range went from 19 months to 91 years - great grandchild to great grandmother - Ciana to Auntie Nobuko =)

There was a gaggle of Shojis - 18 of them including trektone.

We had 28 people this year. Including Alani, there were 5 kidlets under the age of 10. Kyle and Brendan no longer qualify for that category - they're both 11 and they had a blast together as usual. Poor Kenji and Michael got ambushed, darted and sat on. Kenji was very much in love with the nerf bazooka. Guess Claudia will have to buy him one ( Read more... )

I haven't heard any giggles from my bedroom for the last 20 minutes or so. I think they're finally out. At 10 pm, I had two giggling, excited kidlets - wide awake and so NOT ready to go to sleep. Pillow fight, stealing blankets (bed is totally in shambles) and I had to put a pillow in the middle of the bed to keep them from "breathing the other' ( Read more... )
