A quick catch up of what I've been up to

• Really enjoyed seeing Kinky Boots at the Orpheum
• Had planned to go to Carmel, but the weather was lousy, so went to Graton's for the day. Lost as usual. herefox even got carded at dinner. I mean, "REALLY???"

• 15th: Had our annual department holiday party with food from Buca Di Beppo's and yummy desserts from Costco (chocolate to die for cake!). So, a week ago Saturday, while Kyle played Radiata Stories, Alani & I went out to find a Christmas tree. We drove over to the tree lot across the freeway from the Coliseum - we've been going to this particular one for years. Alani knew exactly what kind of tree she wanted - a full spruce. One thing I forgot to mention - the evening before Dicken's Faire, herefox and I did a little holiday shopping at Lush. Bath bombs! Soap! Stuff that normally disolves when it comes in contact with water! Everything is wrapped up in paper and put into paper bags. According to G, the kids woke her up for the first time around 3:30am. She gave them the bad news that they couldn't open presents until Daddy got there, and that wouldn't be until 10am, so "go back to sleep". I think they kept waking her up every hour until 8 or so. *weg ( Read more... )
