update!

This update goes out to sassy (as I didn't get to meet you just now!) as well as the lovely
kinkyryna. Snazzy, it goes out to you too if you're currently not too busy to read this as well! Don't kempunan here hor.

Okay, highlights of the week people!

1. I discovered that one of my students aims to be a model! WHY do these kids have way cooler ambitions than mine???

2. I brought my kids out for a fieldwork lesson for the first time just now and guess what? Sheesh. One of them sustained an injury lah! Apparently he fell due to his clumsiness. Thank God. Eh, I don't mean that it's good that he's clumsy! Or that it's good that he fell for that matter! It's "Thank God that he fell cos of his own clumsiness and NOT cos he's playing and I was unaware of it". Anyway, baru aku tengah excited one corner nak bawak budak-budak keluar nak buat fieldwork. Then THIS had to happen.

Oh yeah, did you know that we had to fill out an accident report for this kinda thing? The report's actually for official record purposes. That is, to record in black and white that the school is aware of what has happened and such... but the kids (the injured and his eye-witnesses) thought otherwise. They looked so worried when I approached them with the paper (as I need information from them about the incident). I mean, imagine if you're a 13-year-old seeing the phrases "ACCIDENT REPORT" in bold on top of the form. It just sounded so formal and serious. So anyway, it's just too bad that they got me as their teacher cos upon seeing their reactions when they saw the form, I just couldn't resist but pretend that it's the most serious thing of the moment. Like, if they were to worry even 1% less, the consequences would be detrimental. Hah. That's definitely a moment of entertainment for me there!

3. The complaints the kids are giving me are getting more ridiculous BY THE SECOND! Ok fine, I'm exaggerating but oh.my.goodness. You should just see the onslaught of nonsense that the kids are giving me. I thought that complaints like "Teacher he take my pen *insert quarrel involving derogatory accusations like "You're so bapuk" or slight beating over here*" ranked the highest on the scale of ridiculousness. Well, apparently not! The latest one that took it's spot:

"Teacher you see. He showed me his butt".

Oh yeah, don't forget to add a punch on the back and kick of the table/chair before the said student complained to me.

4. One of my students is cutting herself! Ok, enough said.

5. Heh, the weekend's here. Yay yay yay!

6. BUKU HARRY POTTER DAH KELUAR PEOPLE!!
