Went out on Friday with friends to the Hogs Breath in northbridge, for an early birthday dinner (it was actually on Saturday). Had an awesome time, food was much better this time than the last time Al & I went there and thought food was really bad. Of course the enjoyment of the food could have been due to the cocktails and beers friends bought me during night but whatever.
Celebrated more on Saturday night as Al & I went to D'Tandoor in Como for a curry dinner. For a change had the buffet - a mistake, as it was a bit cold and not as good as if we'd gotten our regular order. But as we know the staff we got some free samosas, just because we asked. D'Tandoor's a great place if you love your curry.
Am home today with Xuxu, as she caught nits from someone at school and we had to treat them this morning, when they were discovered. Not fun, let me tell you!
Am loving the Broken West. Got their live ep recorded at SXSW at emusic a few weeks back and it's fantastic. May go and buy it soon I like it that much. Am also waiting for emusic to bring out Andrew Bird's newie, but it's still "unavailable for download in your country (Australia) at this time". I absolutely hate seeing that message on emusic. It's like that for quite a few cds I want, including the Clean's Anthology. Too bad you can't lie about where you live on there, but oh well..
