(no subject)
A lazy night in. Got pizza hut earlier, and had/am drinking wine.
Xuxu is watching TV. I'm not being a good mum, being on the computer and all, but then again we don't usually have her on a Friday night, (her dad's away so we have her for 10 days straight), but she doesn't seem to mind watching TV by herself. Plus, as it's Friday night, we'll let her stay up till 9 :)
Tomorrow we're going bed shopping. Saw an ad for a loft bed and want to get one for Xuxu. It would save a lot of space in her room as it has a desk underneath and we could put her computer there and free up the other side of her (tiny) bedroom. Unlike her dad's house, mine's twice as small and she comments on it all the time (the fact that her dad has a much bigger house). But I'm not complaining, as we've got the better location...
Downloaded "Boxer" by the National tonight, as well as a few tracks by Boston band Lyres (not to be confused with another new-ish band called the Lyres). Lyres were a garage-y/punk band from Boston which had their first releases in the late 70s, and were the bees knees. Most known for their song "Help you Ann".
