So I get to be a dj again, sort of. Barr has been playing my "old fella" pick on RTR each day this week at 7am. When I gave him the cd, at "in the pines", he told me he'd send me an email giving me the heads up he'd be playing them. Since I didn't get that I was quite surprised to hear my first pick on Monday morning! When he said my name, Xuxu, who was in the room with me, said, "hey, that's you, mum!" He's played so far: - the chills - pink frost; the sound - winter; and the field mice - emma's house. All tracks released before 1990, the criteria. He told me he'd never heard of the sound or the field mice, I find that a bit strange, being that he's been a music presenter for quite a long time, but hey, he played my songs anyway. you'll have to listen in tomorrow and friday for my last 2 picks ;)
