Eliza is not wearing her lab coat, but she speaks either way. "I work in a lab. It isn't exactly equipped for Hematology though."

Lichtenstein crooks an eyebrow. Both at her and her answer. Haematology equipment would really be preferable. But he might as well get what he can take. If it's useful in any way. "What is it equipped for?"

"Biological Engineering. That's my department. What exactly do you need?"

Engineering. It doesn't sound like it has much to do with biology. But she has the equipment and he has less knowledge of the old forms of science than he'd like. Typical of so many young people. He doesn't snort. But he does crook an eyebrow. "No consideration at all? Doesn't it cross your mind that doing that might get you in trouble? Or haven't you heard of the phrase 'just too good to be true'?"

"I've heard the expression, it can sometimes be used to stop people getting what they want. But opportunities won't hang around forever and I tend to make sure it's an opportunity not a trap I'm more cautious than you'd think."

"It's also used to give people fair warning," the professor points out dryly. Ignorance is everywhere nowadays. "Opportunities can be traps as well. And you might want to watch that confidence. One of these days you might overestimate yourself."

Irma takes a swallow from a coffee cup, then says "I consider them carefully. I... probably consider them for too long and end up missing them, actually."

Lichtenstein crooks an eyebrow. "And are you more regretful or unaffected by this?"

"I'm usually unaffected, but sometimes I wonder if I should try to be more open to things." A little shrug from the teenager.

The small, dark haired woman could possibly be uncomfortable for a lich to be around, depending on how sensitive he is to things that are anti-dark. Though, since she's just a fountain of living energy and not an outright destroyer of that kind of thing, even if he is sensitive he'll probably be okay.

"For me," she says as she grips the collar of a lioness sized orange tabby cat. "It depends on the opportunity."
