"I was hoping the Nexus would be a nice holiday, but it's just added to my stress. There have been too many lousy situations to name."

Ianto sticks his hands in his pockets and frowns.

It does seem to work that way, doesn't it? I've made so many new friends, but I've made a hell of a lot of really nasty enemies too. Seems like one's life just gets that much more complicated here.

"More stress, but I don't mind it much." Soma frowned as he noted how Phoenix is holding himself. "What's going on?"

I dunno. Just a combination of everything, really. It doesn't help that every time Grey shows up in the Sanctuary lately, I feel like I'm in a prison until he leaves.

"I know. The bastard however did look like he's drugged to the gills and half-dead the last I saw him, though he was a she." Soma tched as he sat on the arm of a couch, legs dangling. "Doesn't mean I don't think he's up to something."

He has been tired lately, anyway? I wonder what's going on with him? I never like not knowing what he's doing.

"It's... It's been neat, having the Nexus to fall back on. I've met some incredible people here, and there are things that I hate about my world that this place just doesn't have. So yeah, it's taken some stress away. In fact, I wonder why I ever go back sometimes."

Wow, lucky you. I wish I could say the Nexus changed my life completely for the better.

"Yeah well, I don't know, maybe not COMPLETELY for the better, but it at least seems that way because this place is just so much better than home. Less stupid. And stuff. I'm sorry you're having some rough times, man. What--"

He notices Phoenix's strategic placement and looks around to make sure that there's no one that he knows him to be on the hit-list of...

"--What's it doing to you? I mean, how's it gotten stressful?"

"My feelings are much the same, Mr. Wright," says Reilly Tyne, whose nose had been buried in a book. "The Nexus has certainly brought me more stress. I've been in situations I could never imagine. Cost me people I loved. Yet, I... I've gained a lot. Friends. Family. I'm honestly not sure, some days, whether I'd prefer to stay or have never found the place at all."

He puts the book down and looks at Phoenix again. "You're acting sort of odd. Something wrong?"

Yeah. Well, I wouldn't have even stayed if the Nexus hadn't more or less forced me to. Still can't decide if I'm thankful or not.

Just kinda stressed out lately. Between Grey hanging around the Nexus, and I think Dracula's up to something lately, and all that stuff, I've been a little run ragged mentally.

"Dracula? Grey? Are you safe?" Reilly frowns. "Don't run yourself too ragged, Mr. Wright."

Well, Grey's the main reason I'm currently sticking to AVF territories. Dracula... I don't know. I'm not really his main target.
