"More stress, but I don't mind it much." Soma frowned as he noted how Phoenix is holding himself. "What's going on?"

I dunno. Just a combination of everything, really. It doesn't help that every time Grey shows up in the Sanctuary lately, I feel like I'm in a prison until he leaves.

"I know. The bastard however did look like he's drugged to the gills and half-dead the last I saw him, though he was a she." Soma tched as he sat on the arm of a couch, legs dangling. "Doesn't mean I don't think he's up to something."

He has been tired lately, anyway? I wonder what's going on with him? I never like not knowing what he's doing.

"I'd like to know what he's doing, but he seemed too exhausted to be running on all six cylinders." Soma pursed his lips. "He's still giving Some the eye." His fingertips curled up as if holding the hilt of a weapon.

"Is there anything else going on?"

Not surprising. If anything, Some is that much more of a prize, and having Some freak out every time Grey shows up doesn't help much.

Actually, possibly. I think Dracula is up to something, Soma.

"Fu-" he cut himself off, and switched to a string of Spanish, the translation decided that instead of translating the statement, it decided to only give the distinct impression that it's something involving Grey, a Vampire, and a goat.

Yeah, tell me about it. He said he was here "on business," whatever the hell that means. Watch your head.

He winced. "Business, so he's not just feeling out the situation here." Soma had unconsciously unsheathed a dagger from his boot (though the item never actually was in his boot), and spun the hilt in his hand. It was the same one he had when they were investigating the vampire mist some time ago.

"Better carry a Crucifix or some other holy symbol on you."

I'll keep that in mind. Though the amount of stuff I have to carry with me lately, I'm gonna end up stretching out my pockets.

"Might want to wrap it around your neck." He gestured, and then went into his own pocket, setting his dagger down. "Just how deep are you pockets anyways?" Soma asked as he pulled out a very thin, silver crucifix the size of his palm with a string of bone rosary beads attached to it.

Deep enough for a few essentials. Usually, everything else gets carried in a briefcase.

Wha, you're not giving that to ME, are you? You need it more, I would think.

"Oh come on. I can fight him, you can't!" Soma protested - never mind how he barely survived the excursion to Castle Dracula by the skin of his teeth. "And I have Mina's amulet, so I'm not completely without protection."

...wait, are you suggesting he might have a reason to go after ME too?!

"I don't know for sure, but he has been known to use hostages in the past, had possessed others - just take it will you?" Soma exclaimed with some exasperation. "Better safe then sorry, right?"

He takes the charm and puts it around his neck, fretting a bit now. Last thing he needed to think of was being used as a tool for someone else. Again.
